Isaac Herrin

Owner/Broker

Isaac is the Owner and Broker-in-Charge of Old North. After beginning his career in interior design, he felt the pull to help people buy and sell their homes, so he went to real estate school and became a broker with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Heritage, where he still works as a Realtor/Broker.

In 2022, Isaac was named Realtor of the Year by his office, and won the BHGRE Silver Award.

Vacation rentals have always been a passion for Isaac. "I love seeing the smiles on kids' faces when they get to the home and there is a 'smores pack' waiting on them. And I love receiving the messages from guests saying they have had the chance to disconnect from their phones and reconnect with their families at one of our homes. That's what this is all about for me."

Hannah Herrin

Owner/Operator

Hannah is the Operations Manager at Old North, and a native of Robbinsville, NC. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Communication from Western Carolina University, Hannah has worked in journalism, both locally and nationally. While working in Washington DC for the National Journalism Center, she was an on-air reporter for a national news program.

The tourism industry in Western North Carolina has always intrigued Hannah, and as Old North has grown, she found herself right in the middle of the business!

Hannah and Isaac live in the Stecoah community with their goldendoodle Lulu and their bombay cat Sir Purr. They love going on walks in the area, playing tennis, and traveling.

Lulu

Chief Petting Officer (CPO)

1-800-WOOF

Lulu is a 25-pound black goldendoodle (yes, we know she's not "actually" golden), and she is the light of Isaac and Hannah's lives. She currently serves as the Chief Petting Officer for the Old North team, and brings a fun-loving attitude to the office!

Her role includes chasing tennis balls, sneaking bites of food/treats, getting her belly rubbed, and getting pets by anyone and everyone she comes in contact with.

You can find Lulu in our office, on a walking trail, snoozing on a couch (any couch, really), or wearing her life jacket on a pontoon boat. When you see her, don't be shy to give her some love!
